dave creeps out an old man
today i got into an argument
kinda
with a well dressed old man, wearing a suit and a nice hat

he was definately 70+
he stuck his hand in my face just as i started to bike from my gym to home
i was on the sidewalk
and this granted him the right to pretend to touch my face as i biked on by
it was really quick
and im sure there was something said
but i was listening to The Sisters of Mercy ..that song that goes "MOTHER RUSSIA!"
so i couldnt hear him

anywho
i stop
turn around and watch him walking
i dunno, pissy old men piss me off
ive been in a good mood lately
but an old man?
c'mon

so i bike up and go past him
carrying on another half a block where i stopped to wait for him
another cyclist on the sidewalk passed me
a girl
about late 20s
we smiled cuz we were both biking
or i look gay
anywho

i watch her pass the old guy
he does nothing
no hand in the face -nothing

but as he nears me hes in mid sentence:
"..shouldnt even be on the sidewalk, the sidewalk is for people and the street is for cars and bicycles.."
as he got nearer he directed this at me
so i say "and so youre gonna throw your hand in my face as i go by?"
old guy "you should be on the street"
dave "you should be in a retirement home"
old guy "you know what you are? youre a young punk. thats what you are. you should be locked up in jail!"
dave "for biking on a sidewalk??"
old guy "you shouldnt be on the sidewalk"
dave "but i should be in jail because what im doing is criminal?
old guy "yes you should!"
dave "wow you really are old! whats a senile old guy doing out on your own? are you lost?"
old guy "now you stay away from me!"
dave "are you confused? you look confused? (the old guy turns to walk the other way) oh do you even know where you are? are you lost? did you wear your diapers?"
old guy "you keep the fuck away from me!" (as he goes into a store for cover)
dave "did you want me to call your grandkids so they can pick you up and bring you back to the home? are you lost? you could get hurt out here"
